Born and raised in a small Michigan farming town with little creative outlets, Luther Rosebaro eventually left in his early 20's and moved to Texas. He met his wife of 38 years there and they eventually ended up in Sarasota in 1989, where they raised their four children.

In 2009 Luther got involved with the local Chalk Festival and Aviendes de Colores as well as the associated artists. “It's been very rewarding, I've learned much from this very talented group”. A few years ago he became more serious about his art and started drawing all the time, including trying his hand at painting. In between working and trying to make a living, he tries to create. “Put on some music and get lost in my art. I love to see a blank sheet of paper or an empty canvas come to life, and then think, wow, I created that.”
